Not only is the Duvall team invested in our clients, but in South Carolina as well. For this reason, Duvall is an active member of Lowcountry Local First, a grassroots campaign in support of thinking local, being local, and buying local here in South Carolina. Duvall’s two locations, in Charleston and Greenville, both strive to support and be a part of their local communities.
In Charleston, the Duvall team has also embraced Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) to offer yet another service to our customers and neighbors: an easy way to buy local. As one of two pick-up locations, Duvall Charleston supports the 300-acre Hudson Family Farm, which has been around for over 20 years. Their all-natural produce allows families to “experience fresh South Carolina produce as if it was grown in their own garden,” and it is their belief that, “knowing where our family’s produce comes from helps all of us develop ‘roots in our local CSA and community’”.
Duvall Greenville also strives to support locally owned businesses and farmers through its partnerships with Native Meats, a South Carolina company dedicated to healthy foods, righteous farming and local producers, Live Oak Farms, whose animals and vegetables are naturally grown with now hormones or antibiotics, and Happy Cow Creamery, which offers fresh milk, cheese, and butter.
