Duvall Team Feature: Operations Manager, Jon Bienz

We’re featuring members of the incredible team that make up Duvall Catering & Events. This week we sat down with our Operations Manager, Jon Bienz, as we continue our team spotlight series. Having been with us for 23 years, Jon is an integral part of the Duvall Team. He is our go-to guy for all things back of house! Jon’s straight forward, logical personality grounds everyone and leads us to success!

What is your dream job?

Marine Biologist

What are you known for?


What do you like to do in your free time?

I love to go to the beach and hang out with my friends.

What is your favorite thing on our menu?

Cheese Croustades. Have you had those? They are so good!

What do you love most about your current position and our industry?

Every day is different and a challenge.

You step outside the office and find a lottery ticket that ends up winning $10 million. What would you do?

Well…I’d call a lawyer.

What food are you? Why?

Cheese, because I could live off of it.

What was the first sign you encountered that you were in the right industry?

I knew that I was in the right industry when I worked the World Cup of Golf.  At one point in the tournament I was driving a golf cart with one knee with a phone in one hand and a radio in the other.
