Giving Back: Feed the Need

On August 16th we had the privilege to team up with the North Charleston Police Department Community Immersion Program to feed lunch to over 400 people at Tricounty Family Ministries.  Our commitment to local non-profit Feed The Need brought about this partnership and continues to inspire us to give back to our community.

Feed The Need is a coalition of Charleston area chefs who are committed to helping area shelters bring food to the community.  This coalition, put together by Charleston Grill General Manager Mickey Bakst in 2009, has served over 300,000 meals and saved local non-profit shelters over $500,000.  Shelters include: Tricounty Family Ministries, East Cooper Meals on Wheels, Crisis Ministries and Neighborhood House.

As catering professionals, we not only strive to serve up great meals at every event, we also passionately believe no person should ever go hungry.
